Gong hei fatt choi bebz!
I do agree with you that lots of people now have lost in touch with the traditions. I think people who are around our age are still ok. But those who are like 20 years and younger... They don't know any shit about chinese tradition at all! Useless!

so my suggestion.... get married as soon as possible and give birth to more babies! Then make sure that you fucking train them well! Happy Chinese New Year.

Wishing everyone Happy Chinese New year
and
Gong Xi Fa Chai

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!!!! I am scared that I might not have the time to wish everyone here during the Chinese New Year. Now I can't wait for that day to come! Muahaha... Don't know why I feel kan cheong about it and can't wait to get ang pows too! I am just glad that this year I am able to celebrate this special day with my family!!!

Tonight until tomorrow night will be the busiest day for my family as we are gonna clean up the whole house for one last time to make sure that the whole house looks nice for Chinese New Year!! Guess what? Every year my job is to make the house looks RED!!! Yeah!!! The auspicious color for Chinese New Year and every year without fail I will make sure that the whole house looks red!!! I think it makes people feel happy! ^____________^

When I was young, I couldn't understand why we have to wash our hair and everything must be new and clean at least to welcome the New Year. I used to think that it's so troublesome to follow all the rules for not sweeping the floor and must cut the finger nails before that, etc. But my appreciation for this Chinese tradition has increased as I get older and when I spent too much time at oversea.

I feel quite guilty now for all the times my mum and aunts lamented that their Chinese traditions would be lost on our generation. My mum and aunts' efforts in trying to teach us these Chinese customs have made me understand that it is important that we know where we come from and that it is we who will pass on the tradition to the future generatons.

I am disappointed by some friends who think that they have been to overseas for their studies and when they came back, they simply think that they are more ang-moh and think that all these are not necessary. But I am pretty sure that I wil definitely pass the tradition to my children next time in the future... even tough I didn;t learn 100% of tradition from my mum, but I will make sure that my children know the important one!!!

For now, I am just waiting to receive ang pows, have reunion dinner, tossing the Yee Sang and to catch up with friends and relatives!!

HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once you grow older, the chinese new year mood is always not there. But when you are on that day itself, I am sure you will enjoy yourself as much as possible. Rather than celebrating at oversea where there's no chinese new year atmosphere at all. Gong hei fatt choi to you and your family!

Six more days to Chinese New Year. I don't know why this year I don't really have any mood for Chinese New Year. It feels as though it's just another normal day. But the best thing about Chinese New Year is to be able to celebrate it with my family. I have been waiting for two years and now I just don't have the mood to celebrate. I guess I need to slowly build up the feelings! LoL!!!

Being a little kid is so much fun, especially when Chinese New Year is approaching. The thought of getting lots of red envelopes, to be able to play fire crackers, unlimited of cookies, canned drinks and so much more. I enjoyed CNY more when I was little, that i did not care about anything, just to make sure that I look nice and RED on CNY!!! Muahahaha.... Aw~~~ I miss being a little kid again.

I just came back from Singapore yesterday and I am still feeling sad and emo about it. Sad and emo because I am not sure when will I be able to see him again? 3 months later? 6 months later? 12 months later? Guess I have to be strong and I am pretty sure I will wait for him!!! Kenn, if you are reading this, you better don't run away from me coz I will hunt you down! Hahahahaha....

But so far that was the longest time I spent in Singapore!!! LoL! When I came back to Malaysia, all my friends been nagging me saying that I had too much fun in Singapore that I don't want to come back here anymore! Hahaha... Well, even if I am in Malaysia, they can't really come out anyway because most of my friends here have bfs and they spend more time with the bfs. Most of the time I can only meet up with them once or twice a week. So, I'd rather stay in Singapore leh!!!

I am going to help my mum to clean up the house for CNY now. Happy spring cleaning guys!!!

My Singapore trip has nearly come to an end... I am going back to Malaysia next Monday. I am sure I am going to miss my dear so much because I won't be seeing him until June. Luckily once I go back I have to be busy with spring cleaning for Chinese New Year, it will take my mind off some stuff a bit!

Finally Kenneth has met up with my parents and they absolutely adore him a lot! The worst part was my father asked him to go into his music room and interviewed him, I am pretty sure that time Kenneth sure scared himself to death! Hahahah... But he said my father is not as scary as I said. Well, my father mah... sure scary what! Everything went on well in Malaysia because Kenneth has left a good impression on my parents. At least he doesn't stay in the room all day and did spend time talking to everyone in my family.

I have met his parents and at the beginning it was quite scary but now I am find with them. His parents are funny, especially his father... very random, funny and is a good cook!!! They have brought me around Singapore to eat and his father purposely prepared dinner for a few nights!!! Hope that I will leave a good impression too!!!!

I think this trip to Singapore is the best one ever!!! This is because the whole journey is relax and happy, plus I have a lot of fun here! Kenneth has brought me to a lot of places and both of us have put on lots of weights! Should check out our tummies man!!!! LoL! Moreover, he is beside me all the time when I went out to meet up some old friends!

It's not like last time when I had those fucked up bfs that they will just ignored me all the time and I had to go to everywhere ALONE!!! This afternoon we just went swimming together and I was so tired after that that I slept for 4 hours! The last time i swam was 7 years ago!!! We wanted to challenge each other this morning but ended up didn't coz I don't think I can do it! I couldn't really finish 1 lap at one go! Sianz....

Finally I have managed to meet up lots of people in Singapore and it was great catching up with all of them! Furthermore, I even managed to see Armin Van Buuren at Zouk!!!! So happy!!! But the crowd was crazy and it was packed like hell!!!! I still prefer the rave in Perth though... At least they control the crowd in every events and clubs and they will not pack till you can't fucking walk!!!

Urgghh... 4 more days... Then I will be in Malaysia again.

=(
