"Sophia, you are not a party animal anymore!"
Yes! I am not a party animal anymore, as compared to last time. I have been getting this kinda comments from my friends lately. This is because I have been MIA-ing from most of the events. I feel bad for not attending all the events but what else can I do? A lot of people don't seem to understand the reasons why I cut down on going out.
I don't mind if my friends blame me for not going out with them IF, only IF I have been partying every week somewhere with someone. The fact is I haven't been fucking going out for the past 3 weeks! I have been craving to go out clubbing for ages, but still... I didn't go. That's because I am really low on money and I don't wanna spend my money on unnecessary things. By going out too often, you ought to pay for the meals, the drinks, parking fees, alcohol fees, and whatever fees lah.
The reasons why I don't wanna go out:
- I have 3 jobs, I work 6 days a week and 1 day I will be at the uni. I even sleep 2 or 3 hours earlier as compared to last time. I don't even have time to sleep and I haven't even start studying for my mid-sem tests! Do you guys think that I have time for other things?
- I still owe $2500 to two of my friends and I am trying very hard to save all my money from work to pay them back as soon as possible. I feel very uneasy to owe them such a large amount of money! Moreover, my savings haven't even reach $1000 to be able to pay both of them back. So, if you guys think that by working three cafe jobs will be able to pay back the money, then everyone in this world will be better off working as a casual at cafes.
- My parents are not giving me a cent for my living expenses because they said that it's my fault for failing my units last semester. I have to pay rent, I have to pay for my food and Lexx's food, my car's petrol, electrical, water, phone bills and etc. I have to borrow around $5000 from my mum to pay my school fees!
- I must admit that I spend the rest of my time with Kenneth and what's wrong with that? Come on, we have only been together for 2 months, rileks lah a bit... Plus he is most likely to go back to Singapore to serve his NS for 2 years this end of the year.
I am so troubled by all these and I have to call Diana for advise. She said that:
"You can't make everyone happy, just as long as you think that you are doing the right thing and know which one is your priority, then go ahead with it. Coz by the end of the day, if you fuck your life up, none of your friends are gonna take responsibility for that."
I am not saying that I don't wanna go out ever again, but I just need some time, just give me some time and I will go out with everyone! Do you think that I don't wanna go out for karaoke? Do you think that I don't wanna go out for clubbing? You are talking about Sophia!!!! I would love to go out for all events!!! I will start spending time with everyone once I have quit one of my cafe jobs by the end of September, but it doesn't mean that I will go to all outing events because...
