friendship |
 The other day I was discussing about the topic -- "Friendship" with Jacque and I think that the word 'Friendship' is such a strong word that it's hard to explain. You will never know whether this particular friend will betray you in the future, or not. Or, he/she will help you in the future, or not. There are a lot of things going on in the head thinking whether it's worth keeping this friend as a friend.  As for me, now I only cherish those friends who really stand beside me and go through shits and hell with me for the past few years. Last time, I used to complain a lot about my friends who never appreciate my friendship, who backstabbed me, used me, betrayed me, etc. I kept thinking about the things that I have done for them, I cried lots of time because of them, I was feeling down because of them.
By the end of the day, who will be the one laughing at me thinking that I am such a stupid, useless person? Who will be the one feeling sad? Who will be the one standing beside you, supporting you, and also feeling sad for you because you are sad? So, I get over it from time to time. That was because I don't want them to think that I can't survive without them. Please loh, without them, I will have a better life!
That is why now I don't really feel anything when one of my friend is making used of me, or betrayed or backstabbed me. I will just stay away from them and choose not to go out with them in the future, as simple as that. Well, I have gave them a chance to be their friend, if they don't appreciate it, then fuck it! I can always seek for new friends until I find someone who is good for me!
One of my gay friends always said that, "you must always categorize your friends, which friends and which friends are for shopping, movies, coffee or blah blah blah." Oh well, I don't. If all my best friends are here, I will surely call all of them to go out for coffee, movies, or whatever thing. Unless I know that he/she doesn't like to go out, busy, working, studying... For example, I have two best friends who hate clubbing in Malaysia, so I never ask them to go clubbing with me coz I know that they will never say 'yes' to me. So, I always go clubbing with another best friend of mine.
It's funny that all my five best friends in Malaysia actually went clubbing once with me, went out shopping once with me and went for coffee once with me... and they don't even know each other. But I am the one who called all of them to ask whether they are free for this and that, if yes, then why not come out together? I met all of them when I was in my secondary school, primary school, university, and college. So, I don't really categorize my best buddies!!
But I DO categorized my normal friends... friends whom I will only call them when I want to go clubbing. Friends whom I will only call them when I want to go shopping and more. But on the other hand, I bug my best buddies most of the time. I call my best buddies for everything. No matter how busy they are, I will still ask just for fun! Hehehe...
And who said that I can only have one best friend in my life??!! Fuck that! I don't give a fuck! I admit that I'm indecisive and I am selfish! I want more than 1 best friend!!!
