I was quite happy to know that Beard Papa is finally in Malaysia. I can't believe it!! It is a crunchy puff stuffed with delicious whipped cream custards! How I wish I am in Malaysia now, then I can eat some cream puffs!!! I came across this Beard Papa cream puffs last year when Darrel's friend's gf came here for a visit. Her name is Jonney and she was staying at my house last year, then her exbf came to Perth as a surprise for her. He brought along Beard Papa cream puffs. After taking the first bite... I was in heaven that time! Muahaha... It is so delicious and it makes me want to have more of it... sinful~~~
Actually when I was still at secondary school, there was this bakery shop at Berkeley which is making their own well-known cream puffs. When I had their cream puffs that time, it was delicious and I kept going there for more! It was so popular in Klang, almost all my friends love eating it. But I must admit that this Beard Papa's cream puffs are much nicer than the one they have at Berkeley bakery shop. BP's cream puff is very crunchy, fluffy and airy... as for Berkeley's cream puff, it's not crunchy at all, and too flat and a bit oily though. But both of their whipped cream custard is sooooo nice.
The creamy filling was extremely fresh with only the slightest of sweetness and wonderfull aroma of vanilla. If you keep the cream puffs in the fridge and eat it later on, you will be like eating ice-cream cake! This is just too good to be true! Aw~~~ I want to go back to Malaysia to eat the cream puff! I still remember last year when I went back to Malaysia, they don't have Beard Papa yet... But I went to Singapore and managed to find it at Taka. Darrel doesn't even know about that cream puff... *roll eyes* But that time when I tried that cream puff in Singapore, it wasn't that good, maybe it wasn't fresh. How come Australia never have new food coming in... everything here is so dead!!! urgghh... Perth = pathetic *perth-ta-tic*
